Mobile Network Not Available is very common error among Android users. If you are using dual SIM card then you will receive such error.

Before we proceed to Fix Mobile network not available Error, Check the following two things-

  • Your Phone is not on Airplane Mode.
  • Your Phone is switched to Roaming if you are out of your Default Circle.

Fix 1

This is one of the simplest method using which you can get rid of errors like straight talk mobile network not available or cellular network not available for voice calls. All you need to do is follow these Steps-

Step 1- Power off your Android / Windows Phone. Wait for the Phone to get completely switched off.

Step 2- Remove Both Battery and Sim Card. Remove both the Sim Cards, if you have dual Sim option.

Step 3- Wait for at least 5 mins. If time permits, you can wait for 20-30 minutes as well.

Step 4- Power on your Phone and wait for your phone to receive the signal.

(Note – This Fix works only with Removable Battery Phones. If your Phone do not have Removable Battery option; you can simply take the Sim out and wait for 15-20 mins before inserting it again.)

Fix 2

Now if the Fix 1 didn’t work for you, you would possibly want to pick this method to fix the errors like mobile network not available or some weird errors like mobile cricket network not available. Follow these Steps-

Steps 1 – Open the Settings on your Smart Phone.

Step 2 – Open Wireless and Network Settings in Android and iOS Phones and Mobile Network in Windows Phone.

Step 3 – Now Tap of Mobile Networks in your desired Sim.

Step 4 – Tap on Network Operator and select “Automatically” in it.

Step 5 – Restart your Phone and check for the Network Signal.

Note – You can also do Fix 2 first and then Fix 1. Windows Phones worked better in this Order.

Fix 3

Now if you are not able to get the job done from either of the above mentioned two steps. Well, I am sorry to say, but in that case, you have two options available-

If you are in Roaming Area, wait to back to your circle. You might just get the job done. And if not, the only option you are left with is a Hard Reset. So you can Back-Up all of your data and do a factory reset.

Fix 4 – Exclusively for Verizon Users

For Verizon Users, you get to have another option to Fix the error – Verizon mobile network not available. If you have tried every other option given in the article, there might just be some error with Verizon APN Settings. To get rid of Verizon Mobile Network not available, try updating your APN Settings. Follow these steps for the same-

Step 1 – Open the APN Settings on your Android Device either from the shortcut or the Wireless and Networks Settings.

Step 2 – Fill in the following Details, while Editing your APN Settings-

Name: Verizon

Step 3– Restart your Phone and try Fix 1.

You might get the job done.

So there were few of the simple yet effective ways using which you can get rid of errors like cellular network not available for voice calls or mobile network not available. If you are not able to fix, the error using any of the above steps which are highly unlikely as one of the fix included a Hard Reset.
